Machanyan family winemaking traditions started from small village named Aylur situated near Van. The name of the village came from the river Alluria, which flowed around the village. Inspired by the family's centuries old winemaking traditions, Alluria wine was created. Hot climate, sandy and clay soil result in perfect harvests. Alluria wines are made using traditional methods with spontaneous fermentation, meaning that no commercial yeasts are added.
This wine is made from the Hakhtanak and Karmrahyut varieties through spontaneous fermentation.
