Van Volxem Volz GG 2021

The Riesling Wiltinger Volz Grosses Gewächs is from the best central parcel of the Wiltinger Braunefels, very rich in iron. Just around the corner from the Scharzhofberg, it faces southwest and is well-ventilated and more open to the Saar, yet warmer than the Scharzhofberg. The nose at first presents a very pretty white peach, with a little creaminess and the slightest hint of hazelnut from oak. The palate is supremely lemon-bright, wonderfully charming, but not without spiky, alluring freshness.
