The Vulcaia Fume is made in a seductive smoky style with fermentation in 30% highly-toasted new oak barrels and 70% used barrels to give a delicate balance between fresh fruit character and deep spicy and vanilla undertones. On the nose there are powerful aromas of ripe tropical fruit, citrus and white flowers set off by hints of vanilla and roasted coffee beans. The first sip reveals an opulent texture and invigorating stone fruit flavours complemented by rich buttery notes.
