Crafted from selected Areni grapes grown in the village of Aghavnadzor, Vayots Dzor region, this dark ruby wine is aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels. It opens with a pronounced aroma of smoke, chocolate, and vanilla. The taste is deep, with a pleasant tartness, while the long, velvety aftertaste reveals distinct oak notes. Perfectly balanced, round, and refined, it pairs beautifully with red meat dishes and cheeses. Awarded the prestigious "Grand Prix" at ProdExpo 2024, this marks the first time in 26 years of winemaking history that an Armenian wine has received such an honor.
